Our love for bringing people together through the senses inspires everything we offer at ASH Coffee. Community, creativity, and coffee are essential ingredients in our big-hearted invitation to join us for nourishing comfort. Finding our venue was kismet. When we first arrived local icon, Ricky the cat, met us at the door. It was our sign that we’d found the perfect found spot for our neighborhood café. Our bright corner of Highland Row business district is nestled in the Virginia Highland neighborhood. For two years we collected flavors from our travels and curated artifacts, paintings, and knickknacks from our home and Southeastern antique stores. In November 2023, we opened our distinctly cozy urban third space for all, ASH Coffee.

Sunlight pours through the wide windows and illuminates crystals, chimes, and plants that enliven our space throughout the day. The walls are adorned with art sourced from local artists, our family collections, and places we peruse. Our retail space offers books, mugs, gifts, and clever adornments for body and home. In our lounge area, you’ll find cushy seating, an eclectic library, board games, and more rays of sunlight. Enchantingly reminiscent of I Spy books for all ages, there will often be something new for you to discover with each visit.

 We offer drip, espresso and beyond, featuring specialties such as our Vietnamese Egg Coffee, mushroom coffee and Ashley’s favorite, matcha. Our daily menu balances sweet and savory selections with multiple vegan and gluten free options. Often, there are new sandwich combinations that Moss creates through his culinary explorations. Our baristas brew, blend, sift, and layer creative beverages with distinctive syrups, craft ingredients, and vibrant artistry. Seasonally featured drinks are shared on our counter display and Instagram.
